  • 5250 & 3270 emulation for DOS (398)
    The Mocha TN5250 program is a [free] terminal emulator for MS-DOS. It provides access to AS/400 Mainframes and emulate a 5250 Information Display System.
    The Mocha TN3270 program is a [free] terminal emulator for MS-DOS. It makes it possible to connect to an IBM Mainframe with the TN3270 protocol and emulate an IBM 3278 terminal.
    Mochasoft also produces and distributes the same emulators in a lite [free] version for iPhone.
  • ASCII - EBCDIC Chart (486)
    The American National Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII) charted together with the Extended Binary Coded Decimal Interchange Code (EBCDIC). Contains also some tips for URL encoding and Quoted-Printable.

    DOSBox is a DOS-emulator that uses the SDL-library and has already been ported to many different platforms, such as Windows, BeOS, Linux, MacOS X.... DOSBox also emulates CPU:286/386 realmode/protected mode, Directory FileSystem/XMS/EMS and Tandy/Hercules/CGA/EGA/VGA/VESA graphics.
    Recommended if you plan to use [oldish] Cobol compilers survived from the eighties. Get your download today.

    Trisquel is a fully free GNU/Linux based operating system for home users, small enterprises and educational centers.
    Trisquel is based on the free components of Ubuntu and using Linux-Libre scripts to build their iso images and downloads. Full source DVD's available.
    Recommended if you plan to use openCobol as your compiler of choice.
